The mission of Mansfield ISD Library Services is to provide welcoming spaces promoting literacy and self-directed learning exploration for all.
Mansfield ISD has policies in place to allow our parents to control the library materials available to their student.
All parents in Mansfield ISD have the ability to receive circulation emails when their student visits the library. To request circulation emails, please complete Parent Request for E-mail Notification form.

Nancy Neal Elementary Check Out Guidelines:

| Kindergarten | 1 Book | Books stay in homeroom teachers' classrooms. |
| 1st Grade | 1 Book- 1st Semester 2 Books- 2nd Semester |
Students will return books weekly. |
| 2nd Grade | Up to 2 books from different genres. | Students will return books weekly. |
| 3rd Grade | Up to 3 books from different genres. | Students will return books every other week. |
| 4th Grade | Up to 4 books from different genres. | Students will return books every other week. |
| Pre-K | Does not check out books. |
*If a student misses his or her checkout time, he or she may come to the library during open check out time(s) to check out a new book. A student can also utilize open check out time to exchange his or her current library book(s).
*Please remember to turn in all materials by the due date (your child's library day), so that other individuals can check out the materials.
